Very powerful nose of oysters, vanilla and allspice. Very good alcoholic integration, and as it opens, the frangipane appears for even more deliciousness. On the palate, there’s pronounced vanilla combined with panela, after the first burst of almond and dried apricot flavors. Very long on the palate. Undergrowth notes on the finish. This exceptional rum was brought back under sail by Blue Schooner Company during the 2022 season.
