Tasting notes :

• On the nose, this rum reveals itself very quickly. The cane attack is very sweet and slightly spicy. After a few seconds, a warm buttery croissant fragrance balances the vegetal notes. As it opens further, it is accompanied by a slight acidity reminiscent of the peel of a freshly opened green banana.
• On the palate, the rum is surprisingly smooth for its 55%, with a superb texture. The patisserie qualities of the nose return, and slightly aniseed vegetal notes recall wild fennel and toasted avocado leaf.
• Finish: walnuts and salt-roasted almonds replace the croissant, and a slight astringency accompanies the long finish.
